OXT mini 1-chain ZigBee module without N Tuya
Built-in ZigBee module, designed to turn your traditional switch or socket into a gadget controlled by your smartphone!
Key features of the OXT wall-mounted mini relay:
- A neutral wire is not required in the box.
- The load of 1 circuit must be at least 10 W. If it is smaller, install a capacitor (included). We always recommend installing a capacitor!
- Operates with a traditional bistable switch or a monostable switch.
- Control your electrical devices from anywhere in the world using your smartphone!
- Control from the most popular home automation app TUYA (available for free on the App Store or Google Play)
- Create intelligent automations depending on, e.g. weather or time, sunrise/sunset, other events in your TUYA ecosystem.
- Timetables – set the action at specific times!!!
- Compatibility with Amazon Alexa/Google Home is possible depending on the type of ZigBee gateway used.
- Timers — counts down how long the relay should be on!
- Can be installed in the terminal box behind the switch!
- Can be used with any electrical device within maximum capacity.
- Ability to control staircase/intersection lighting, via cable or after setup in the app.
- Additional rules and scenarios in the app.
Note!
This module requires ZigBee Gateway, to operate 3.0 TUYA
Zigbee Protocol Basics - Learn and Appreciate!
- Zigbee protocol operates at a frequency of 2.4 GHz, which spreads well inside buildings. Zigbee connectivity is MESH connectivity , meaning that each Zigbee device acts as a relay for other devices.
- If the remote sensor does not have communication with the Zigbee gateway, radio communication with another ZigBee device that has communication with the gateway is sufficient. The devices operate in a network chain that ensures reliable and secure connections.
- ZigBee devices and sensors consume very little power, providing users with long battery life.
- On a Wi-Fi network, network problems will start with 25 devices. You can easily connect more than 50 devices to the ZigBee central unit!
- Devices using the ZigBee protocol connect to the central unit within 0.2 seconds after a state change. Wi-Fi devices take about 5 seconds to connect to a Wi-Fi network after a state change. ZigBee devices have a huge advantage in the field of intelligent rule automation.
- Most automation for configured ZigBee devices is done on the local gateway, not in the cloud. A typical rule is: if motion is detected (PIR sensor), turn on the light. This execution time is about 0.5 seconds. The same rule execution time on Wi-Fi devices is about 3-7 seconds. See the difference?
- Zigbee gateway and Zigbee devices provides much wider and longer storage of parameter data and device history.

Attention! The module does not require an N wire in the box!
ATTENTION – IMPORTANT!!!
- Devices without N are intended for lighting circuits only, they do not work with switching power supplies and transformers!
- Improper use may cause damage to the device, which is not covered by the warranty.
