Magnetoresistive vehicle detector Proxima MDP_P
Goal
MDP is a modern vehicle detector that uses a magnetoresistive sensor. Replaces the traditional induction loop. It has a sensor that detects vehicles that are stopped for a long time and vehicles that are moving. Vehicle detection can occur in 3 axes. Configuration is done using the economical configurator (included) or the LCD configurator (optional).
Note! The sensor must be powered from a stabilized power supply (12–30 V). Even short-term voltage surges above 30 V can damage the sensor. The sensor cable must be placed in a protective tube. DO NOT shorten the power cord! The standard length of the power cord is 10 m (for non-standard cable lengths, please contact the sales department).
Functionality:
- MDP replaces the traditional vehicle sensor, which has long found induction in motion.
- Fault detection scale from 000 to 999 (30 detection thresholds).
- 3 detection axes X, Y, Z creates a sphere with a radius of max. 1.5 m in which disturbances are detected, each axis can be switched off.
- 8 detector operation scenarios:
- – pulse from input to output,
- – pulse at time T, after time t, from vehicle entry,
- – pulse at time T, after time the vehicle has stopped, for time,
- – extended pulse after time T,
- – delayed pulse after time T,
- – pulse from input to output, but not longer than time T,
- – pulse T after entry and pulse t after exit.
