SATEL MZ-2 L MOUNTING TERMINAL MODULES
DESCRIPTION OF JOY
Assembly terminal modules: MZ-1 (small), MZ-2 (medium) and MZ-3 (large) are intended for the construction of low-voltage installations, for example, alarm or intercom installations. They are produced in two versions, differing in the size of the terminal blocks. Modules with smaller cubes are additionally marked with the letter S, and modules with large cubes with the letter L. Terminal modules are used to connect several electrical wires together without using a soldering iron. To facilitate assembly work, the terminals are numbered. In the design of the MZ-2 and MZ-3 modules, metal pins are additionally used. Two pins are attached to each terminal. Using jumpers placed on the pins, you can easily connect the selected terminals in parallel. The jumper should be placed on the pins located between the selected terminals/numbers. By placing jumpers on the next, directly adjacent pins, the group of parallel-connected terminals is increased. However, please remember that the maximum current that can flow through the jumpers is 500 mA. In case of higher currents, it is not recommended to connect the terminals with jumpers. The MZ-1 module has no pins. All modules have an NC type tamper contact. Two SAB terminals allow you to connect the contact to the tamper circuit.
