Purpose:

Solarix Category 6 installation cable, marked as SXKD-6A-STP-PE, is an outdoor, shielded cable designed for more demanding installations where conventional PVC or LSOH data cables do not provide sufficient protection against environmental influences. This cable easily meets the requirements of international standards ANSI/TIA 568, ISO/IEC 11801 and EN 50173 for category 6A or rather class EA cables. The cable cores are made of high-quality AWG 23 copper wire with polyethylene insulation and are tested up to a bandwidth of 500 MHz. Individual bundles/pairs are independently shielded with aluminum foil, the shield type is UV-resistant PE (fire reaction class Fca). The outer sheath is black. The SXKD-6A-STP-PE cable has length markings every 1 m and is wound on a solid wooden reel, which contains all the necessary information about the product, including barcodes, production number and main technical parameters. For underground installations, we recommend using HDPE pipes.
