Beat restrictions
On the USB bus, the connection length is limited to 5 m and the specification only provides five times the signal amplification of the repeater. Therefore, for USB connections longer than 30 m, an extension cable using RJ45 cable (popular twisted pair) category 5/5e/6 must be used.
