All cable fibers are color coded according to the EIA/TIA-598 coding standard. The tube contains up to 24 optical fibers and is filled with a hydrophobic gel to protect the fibers from moisture and vibration. The cable is reinforced with aramid fibers. To provide additional structural strength, two ARP or FRP bars are embedded in the outer HDPE in the layer.
Two threads embedded in the sheath facilitate the removal of the outer cable sheath. (ripcords) The cables are intended for installation in primary and secondary telecommunications ducts using pneumatic (blowing) and mechanical (pulling) methods. and overhead installations at distances up to 80 m.
