AXON NET PROTECTOR surge arrester
Goal
AXON Net Protector The protector family is designed to protect devices connected to Ethernet networks with a maximum throughput of up to 1 Gb/s against impulse surges. AXON Net Protector The protectors work with modems, routers, network cards and all other Ethernet network components that use twisted pair cables terminated with RJ45 plugs. The fast semiconductor elements used in the device eliminate the effects of impulse surges between all pairs of wires in a four-pair cable, and the surge energy is discharged to ground through the PE protective conductor.
The devices are available in two versions. AXON Net Protector has a plastic housing and is designed for installation in less demanding installation conditions. AXON Net Protector Professional is a version equipped with a metal, shielded and mechanically robust housing and shielded connection sockets.
The device is symmetrical. The method of connecting the protected receiver and the signal line to the input and output of the device is arbitrary and does not affect its operation.
