Purpose

Set 24 V set for swing gates with a leaf weight of up to 700 kg and a leaf length of up to 4 m.* Compared to the Kustos BT A operators, the position of the limit switches has been changed, which in the offered Kustos BT B set are placed from above. If you add to this the autoSET function with vibration when setting the end positions, it turns out that the work of the fitter has never been so pleasant.

Kustos actuators are worth installing wherever there is a lot of dust and mud. Since the pull bolt is shielded, the actuators can be installed low to the ground, improving the aesthetics of the installation.

For these actuators, the maximum distance from the hinge axis to the edge of the post is 14 cm.

Description

Residential gate operators designed for gates with a leaf weight of up to 700 kg and a leaf length of up to 4 meters (Kustos BT B40 version). They have a 24 V motor with a 24 V power supply and the THALIA BT A80 DUO control unit has a built-in two-channel rolling code radio with a total memory of 128 remote controls. The drive mechanisms are equipped with magnetic limit switches (both for opening and closing). Personalized key release ensures a high level of security. This is also enhanced by the amperometric obstacle detection function. BFT Kustos BT B40 operators can be used with a frequency of up to 30 cycles per hour, which allows them to be used also in residential areas.

Another extremely interesting and innovative solution is attaching it to a pole bracket with a magnetic pin, which both facilitates installation and improves the aesthetics of the installation, as the magnetic pin is not visible from the outside.

This operator has a D-Track system that ensures optimal power selection at each point of the automation. They automatically increase in winter and decrease in summer so that the drives always operate smoothly and detect real obstacles.

*D-Track system – dynamic torque control

This drive features the D-track system, which is an intelligent torque control system based on BFT microprocessor controller technology.

By receiving data from multiple indicators, the system updates the force level required to perform the operation. D-track also makes it easier for the installer to provide statutory certificates.

Conventional controls do not read the exact position of the door and consistently apply fixed force levels, without providing consistent sensitivity to obstacles during closing and opening.

BFT units equipped with the D-track system register the slightest fluctuations in gate or door force, for example due to temperature or life span differences, constantly supplying the current torque to the motor.

Traditional controls cannot detect these thrust fluctuations, which sometimes results in non-existent obstacles being indicated.

In this way, the BFT D-track system guarantees maximum safety and flawless operation of the equipment regardless of climatic conditions and the degree of mechanical wear.
