IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR MAKING THE RIGHT CHOICE:
- 16 bridges in one installation – possibility to operate up to 16 radio bridges side by side on 16 separate channels
- One bridge transmits multiple images from multiple cameras, which means that for example 8 cameras connected via a switch require a bridge consisting of 2 CDS-6IP eco units.
- CDS-6IP eco There is one radio device. To operate a wireless bridge, 2 devices are required.
- Star activity – One receiver can be paired with up to 8 transmitters, and multiple cameras can be connected to each transmitter.
- 16 camera transmission with one radio bridge – The number of cameras depends on the sum of the BITRATE and the radio DISTANCE. The CAMSAT CALCULATOR and charts will help you choose the right devices.
Description
Radio device for creating a wireless bridge from IP cameras to an NVR recorder
The most popular wireless module for wireless connection between IP CCTV cameras and NVR/VMS recorder. It provides transmission at a distance of 2 km, operating in a stable 5.1-5.8 GHz radio frequency band. It transmits all data between cameras and recorder in both directions, taking into account the VIDEO stream and PTZ control priorities.
Other radios from the CDS-6IP xx family that are 100% compatible are:
- CDS-6IP Multi 4PoE – It has 4 PoE ports that can power IP cameras, a wide range of supply voltages from 12 V to 48 V DC.
- CDS-6IP 3PoE – It has 3 PoE ports and can be powered from a PoE switch.
- CDS-6IP SMA – Built-in directional antenna and additional connectors for an external antenna to increase range.
- WiFi – The latest software in CDS-6IP devices provides radio connectivity to Ubiquiti WiFi LOCO m5 computing devices.
CDS-6IP eco – wireless transmitter for IP cameras
CDS-6IPeco is a very easy-to-configure wireless transmission system designed for transmitting audio/video signals in the 5 GHz frequency band. The system is designed for wirelessly connecting IP cameras to the recorder at a distance of up to 2 km (optional: up to 5 km). Bidirectional transmission ensures all data transmission in both directions. The latest versions work with For IP cameras with very high resolution up to 16 Mpix – UHD, 4K, HD.
Special transmission protocols
CDS-6IPeco is not a computer device for transmitting Internet signals, but a transmitter for continuous and powerful, high-resolution image transmission. The implemented special audio/video protocols ensure the transmission of all HD and 4k image frames with minimal transmission delay. In addition to the simultaneous transmission of multiple images and sounds, it also allows you to control PTZ cameras and transfer all data between the recorder and the cameras.
