DESCRIPTION

The R4 latch is designed for remote opening of left, right and double-leaf doors and gates. Operates with a latch or ratchet lock. Intended for use where it is possible to make a socket with dimensions of 22x30x69 mm.

The advantage of the clamp is its small dimensions, symmetry, thanks to which the variant can be mounted on both left and right-hand doors, and greater operational reliability even in the case of a skewed door frame or curved doors. The R4 clamp can be installed with standard “Elektra Plus” plates.

The symmetrical design and small dimensions allow it to be used in sliding gate systems. The R4 latch can be used with intercom systems in all types of entrance doors. It is made of corrosion-resistant materials, so it can be installed outside buildings, but it must be protected against flooding, weathering and painting.

STRIKE VERSION

The internal memory does not work, using the internal memory ker relative to the door tongue. The memory function allows you to open the door without using a key. By giving an electric impulse, using the intercom button, the latch “remembers” it, i.e., unlocks the latch until the door is opened. By closing the door we “erase” the memory, then the latch returns to its original state.

We can use this function when:

• we want to leave the room without using a key or a handle,
• when we have to go through several doors, we can unlock them all with one short impulse,
• the entry process is prolonged.

ATTENTION!

If the door is not opened, the latch will remain unlocked all the time – and so will the door.

The operation of the latch is characterized by a quiet buzzing sound.

Strokes with internal memory should be installed with the coil facing down.
