Goal
The R5 latch is designed for remote opening of left, right and double-leaf doors and gates. Operates with a latch or a latch.
To adapt the R5 latch to work with doors made of aluminum and PVC profiles, the height of the electromagnetic latch has been reduced from 21 mm in the R4 version to 16.5 mm in the R5 version. Moving the bolt rotation axis downwards has made it possible to achieve the effect of circumferential movement of the bolt, which allows the electromagnetic strike to be installed with less underlay in the door frame.
The advantage of the strike is its small dimensions, symmetry, the variant of which can be set for both left- and right-hand doors, and a larger operational natural, so that there are always good and right sides. The R5 latch can be mounted with standard “Elektra Plus” plates.
The symmetrical design and small dimensions allow it to be used in sliding gate systems.
The R5 latch can work with intercom systems on all types of entrance doors.
It is made of corrosion-resistant materials, so it can be installed outside buildings, but it must be protected from the atmosphere and painted. internal memory function works with an internal spring element, which does not require the exact position of the latch relative to the door latch. The memory function allows you to open the door without using a key. By giving an electrical impulse using the intercom button, the latch “remembers” it, i.e. unlocks the latch until the door is opened. When closing the door, we “erase” the memory, after which the latch returns to its original position.
We can use this function if:
– we want to leave the room without using a key or doorknob,
– if we have to go through several doors, we can unlock them all with one short pulse,

the opening process will not remain unlocked all the time – and the door will not either.
Closed is operated with a quiet humming sound.
