LHD-16R-EXT-FPS is a 16-channel patch panel designed for installation in a 19-inch RACK cabinet. The device is additionally equipped with FPS power distribution functions. The panel combines protection, power distribution, connection organization and stabilization functions in high-definition video surveillance systems. The panel was designed for devices operating in AHD, HD-CVI, HD-TVI and Turbo HD standards.
The protection is universal for coaxial and UTP cables. Depending on the needs, each channel can be designed for UTP twisted pair or coaxial cable. The device is set by setting the jumpers to the “Coaxial” or “UTP” position. This is an excellent solution for installations that use different types of cables in different quantities.
Built-in FPS camera power splitter – can independently power up to 16 cameras, the module is equipped with protection against short circuit or overvoltage. The module is equipped with a light voltage indicator and an acoustic short circuit indicator.
An important advantage of the patch panel is the very low circuit capacitance (2~4pF), thanks to which the shielding has minimal impact on signal transmission from 0 to 100MHz, for HDTV it is not very important because of the attenuation of HD TV.
Extreme The protection series uses the latest solution for ultra-fast automatic in the form of fuses made using MOSFETs technology. During normal operation, they have a very low electrical resistance. During nominal operation, the intensity and increase of current above the set value are controlled, the input circuit is automatically disconnected from the output circuit in a very short time.
The Extre,me class3 uses operates in the correct sequence during lightning discharges or other overvoltage sources, both high and low levels.During the nominal operation of the devices, the signal transmission circuits are not galvanically connected to the ground, which eliminates the harmful effects of ground loops and interference with the HD signal. The protection operation consists of disconnecting (separating) the circuit with an ultra-fastMOSFETs fuse and then the introduction of an electric charge into its circuits at the initial stage of its formation, which prevents the appearance of destructive voltage in the input circuits of video surveillance devices. When the main overvoltage occurs, it is discharged to the ground through a separate conductor. Overvoltages arising inside the wires and secondary overvoltages are eliminated by ionizing elements. This ensures high resistance of the device to multiple impulses (stun guns) and ensures the proper sequence of operation of individual protection levels.
LHD-16R-EXT-FPS can be used in 16-channel applications in combination with EXTREME HDO-1F-EXT or HDT-1F-EXT series protection. The devices can also be combined with PRO series security devices. To ensure complete protection, it is recommended to use protection at both ends of the signal cable together with their grounding. This provides faster security response and better protection of video surveillance devices against lightning effects.
The device uses proprietary BNC connectors, which ensure high connection quality and durability even in adverse temperature conditions.
