Goal
The mAP-2nD is a small MikroTik access point that works2.4GHz band. It is the successor to the mAP-2n model, has two built-in antennas (the predecessor had one), uses 2×2 MIMO and provides better throughput.
It has two fast Ethernet ports, the second of which allows you to power another device using PoE (500mA). This allows, for example, to connect an SXT client device to the mAP and create a subscriber-specific set. This product has built-in antennas with a gain of 1.2 dBi and a maximum transmit power of 17 dBm.
The device can be powered in various ways - via USB, passive PoE or DC plug (10-57 V). The maximum power consumption is only 2 W. Despite its very small size, the mAP-2nD is a fully functional access point and has a RouterOS system with a level 4 license.
