PURPOSE OF THE THICKNESS GAUGE:

• Advanced paint thickness gauge designed for detailed paint thickness control.
• It allows you to check the thickness of paint on steel, aluminum (automatically detects sheet type) and galvanized (automatically detects zinc) sheets.
• The zinc detection function allows you to check whether the repair, for example: The car body was made of original sheet metal or cheaper substitutes without a zinc layer.

• GL-PRO series meters are solutions based on modern 32-bit processors. This allows for fast and accurate measurements using a 12-bit converter. The meters have an innovative probe design that allows for point-by-point measurements on ferromagnetic and non-magnetic materials, automatically recognizing the material being tested and displaying the material type. The probe tip is equipped with a ball. GL-PRO-2-PHASE A distinctive feature of the gauges is the automatic detection of galvanization or non-galvanization of the ferromagnetic sheet. This is very important when measuring a car - it reveals which body parts have been replaced with cheaper non-galvanized ones. The gauge has a calibration function using thickness standards (included in the kit). The gauge has a colorful, easy-to-read 1.8-inch LCD display that shows the current measurement, measurement statistics and all necessary functions. Operation is carried out using a 4-button keyboard and an additional trigger, when pressed, the measurement location is marked.
