The device is designed to amplify and distribute telemetry signals using the RS-485 bus. Packets reaching the input are regenerated and sent identically to 4 separate outputs, which provides an increase in the length of the entire bus by 4 times. Each output has a switchable 120 ohm termination resistor.
Galvanic isolation protects individual branches and the devices connected to them against the effects of lightning discharges and transmission disturbances caused by potential differences.
600W @ 8/20uS surge protection and short circuit protection provide high resistance to damage to cooperating devices in the event of surges, lightning discharges and acts.
