Goal
The APD-200 detector is designed to work as part of the two-way ABAX 2/ABAX wireless system. It complies with the requirements of EN 50131 Class 2.
Description
Effective motion detection is achieved thanks to a dual pyroelement, protected by a dynamic room temperature compensation algorithm. The APD-200 has a modern lens with a unique beam distribution. The lens can also be replaced with a curtain (CT-CL) or long-range (LR-CL) lens. Depending on your needs, the detector can also protect the access area – thanks to an adjustable mirror. The APD-200 monitors the motion detection system – if it is not working properly, the device will report an alarm.
- Configuration and software updates of the APD-200 are performed remotely. Radio communications in the ABAX 2 system are encrypted in the AES standard.
- The sensor is powered by a CR123A 3 V battery, the status of which is constantly monitored. The device is characterized by low energy consumption. The available ECO option (ABAX 2 only) provides up to four times longer operating time without the need to replace batteries.
- An LED indicator signals violations in test mode, thus facilitating the detector testing process.
- The device can be mounted on an adjustable ceiling/wall bracket. The detector has tamper protection against opening and surface removal.
