Goal
OPAL Pro GY is an outdoor dual motion detector, which is perfectly suited for use both outside the protected building and inside in difficult or specific environmental conditions (e.g. halls, shelters). The OPAL Pro GY detector is equipped with a dual-path motion detector: PIR and MW. OPAL Pro GY is equipped with active IR anti-masking (for indoor use). Thanks to this, the device is certified according to the high level 3 security requirements set out in the EN 50131 standard - the detector can be used for indoor protection of high-risk objects: banks, museums, jewelry stores, etc.
Product.2 technology combined with the detector's automatic adaptation algorithm to environmental conditions ensures high resistance to false alarms, and therefore stable operation in difficult weather conditions, such as rain, snow, sunlight and strong gusts of wind. The device offers correct operation in a wide temperature range: from -40°C to +55°C, and changes in ambient temperature are automatically compensated.
The OPAL Pro GY sensor is characterized by a detection angle of up to 100 degrees and a range of more than 15 meters. The area under the sensor is also protected, so any attempt by an intruder to approach the device to damage or break it will be detected. In addition, the software for the OPAL Pro GY series sensors is designed so that the movement of small pets does not cause false alarms.
The OPAL Pro GY sensor is additionally equipped with a twilight sensor that controls the OC output, which allows it to be used in alarm systems with home automation – without the need to install additional twilight sensors. The signal from the low-current output can be fed directly to a relay located in an electrical switchboard or to a home automation controller. The detector can also interact with the KNX system using the INTEGRA series alarm control panel. The OPAL Pro GY functionality allows for simple and convenient control of, for example, roller shutters, building exterior lighting, garage or entrance gates, and the activation moment can be selected thanks to precise sensitivity adjustment.

The device housing is also unique, using two-component injection molding technology. The result is a splash-proof design with an IP54 rating, ensuring protection of the OPAL Pro GY electronics against harmful atmospheric phenomena. The detector housing is also characterized by high mechanical strength and resistance to UV radiation.
The OPAL Pro GY detector is designed to be mounted directly on a flat surface. If the detector is to be tilted vertically or horizontally, special brackets from the BRACKET C (white) or BRACKET C GY (gray) set must be used: angled or spherical.
