What devices does the SINUS PRO ULTRA PLUS 3000 power?
- RTV devices such as televisions, receivers, hi-fi, DVD players
- Home appliances such as refrigerators, microwaves, blenders, toasters
- Office equipment, such as printers, fax machines, computers, monitors
- Power tools such as drills, sanders, angle grinders
- Pumps, compressors
What makes SINUS PRO ULTRA PLUS 3000 special?
Deep discharged battery wake-up function
- This feature is used to jump start (reactivate) a lithium battery that is completely discharged and unresponsive. In some cases, the battery requires a short activation pulse before it can begin charging normally - this option provides this.
- You can set how long this pulse should last, from 6 to 300 seconds. The default setting is 6 seconds, which is usually sufficient in most situations.
- The value can be increased if the device cannot wake up the battery at the default time.
EQ (Leveling) is a process of equalizing the voltage of battery cells, the purpose of which is to:
- Optimize battery performance — ensure that each battery cell operates within the optimal voltage range.
- Extend battery life — prevent excessive wear of some elements, which can lead to their faster wear and degradation.
- This function is used in lead-acid batteries with liquid electrolyte.
How does an inverter work offline?
In offline mode, the solar inverter operates independently of the user's power grid. The energy generated by the solar panels is stored in batteries and then transferred to the connected load.
When using the SINUS PRO ULTRA PLUS series inverter for operation in photovoltaic installations (cyclic battery charging), we recommend using batteries that are most suitable for this purpose, such as: GEL VPRO SOLAR, DEEP CYCLE VPRO SOLAR or lithium LiFePO4.
Remember to select the appropriate battery type and charging current according to capacity in the power supply settings. Incorrect selection of battery charging parameters may cause damage to the battery and void the battery warranty. Using maintenance-free AGM batteries (e.g. AGM, AGM OPTI, AGM VPRO series) in photovoltaic installations (cyclic charging systems) may cause a faster decrease in battery efficiency/capacity. Such batteries are designed and work best in buffer mode (voltage maintenance, UPS emergency power systems).
As with other types of batteries, choosing the wrong charging current can cause damage to the battery and void the battery warranty.
