Goal
Symmetrical electric shock
In the case of typical models, when choosing an electric right lock, the customer should specify the direction of its opening (the direction of door opening). A symmetrical electric strike has a latch (latch) located at the same distance from both sides of the body, which means that it can be installed in both left and right doors. This eliminates the need to choose a specific type of electric lock when designing an entrance control. The function of an electric strike is to block the entrance it protects and release it after applying voltage, which powers the electric strike coil. The electric lock can be controlled by an intercom, video intercom, access control system or a simple push button (the so-called “bell”).
SCOT electric locks are made of high-quality materials, which means long-term operation without failures. Manufacturer's tests show no excessive wear even after hundreds of thousands of opening cycles. This allows the electric lock to be covered by a 5-year warranty.
Reversible
Electric lock with reverse opening function. After connecting the power supply, the reverse lock is CLOSED – blocked. After disconnecting the power supply, the lock is OPEN – unlocked. The basic dimensions of the reversible lock are the same as other conventional SCOT lock models. It is in the OPEN position only during a power failure – i.e. for the time being, while the corresponding button on the control device is pressed or in the event of a power failure. In addition, the door is sometimes CLOSED.
Extended mounting strip included
Together with the electric lock, the customer receives a universal metal strip that allows the electric lock to be installed in a gate post or door frame.
Lock tongue adjustment
Allows you to eliminate play between the electric lock trigger and the door lock trigger by extending the electric lock trigger in the range of 0-4 mm from the standard position.
Alarm
The door has been completely replaced by an electromagnetic switch. It additionally allows you to control the input status (e.g., open door control) by sending a signal to the control system or alarm control panel.
The height of the lock body with the alarm is 7 mm higher - microswitch.
DC power supply with reduced power consumption
The electric lock is equipped with a special power consumption reduction during operation. This feature allows the electric lock to be used in battery-powered control systems, where the power consumption of each device is extremely important.
