Using non-sustainable AGM type batteries (e.g. AGM series, AGM OPTI, AGM VPRO) ) for photovoltaic installations (cyclic charging systems) may cause a faster decrease in battery performance/capacity. Such batteries are intended and best suited for buffer operation (voltage backup, UPS systems).
