The HDMI 2.0 fiber optic cable delivers crystal clear and sharp images in UltraHD 4K/2K resolution at 60 Hz. Such high resolution is especially important when connecting large screens and for applications that require the highest image quality, such as virtual reality. The cable supports 3D IMAX technology and can transmit images in 21:9 format.
The HDMI 2.0 standard is a huge leap forward in sound reproduction quality. The Unitek cable supports 32 audio channels, compared to 8 supported by the previous version, and transmits 7.1 stereo sound. The sound is not only clear, but thanks to Dolby Atmos support, we can clearly hear its depth and spaciousness.
HDMI over fiber means quality and ease of use
The highest picture and sound parameters result directly from the use of high-quality optical fiber as a guiding beam. To avoid even the slightest interference, multilayer shielding was used, and the contacts were coated with 24-carat gold. The cables are available in lengths of 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40 and 50 meters.
Fiber optic technology is not only about image quality, but also about ease of installation. The cable is very thin and light, only 4.8 mm thick. It is easy to arrange and very flexible, as the minimum bending radius is only 25 mm.
