Goal

LINE-INTERACTIVE UPS

Line-Interactive UPSs offer backup power during power outages and automatic voltage regulation (AVR). The AVR regulates the voltage by increasing it in the event of undervoltage and decreasing it in the event of overvoltage. This feature allows sensitive devices to operate on a more stable input voltage, thus avoiding risky fluctuations that can cause damage.

Thanks to automatic voltage regulation, the batteries are put under less stress and last longer. As long as the voltage is within +/- 10% of the nominal voltage, the UPS will regulate the voltage instead of immediately switching to battery mode.

The Line-Interactive UPS offers a USB or RS-232 port for connecting to a computer. The device has software for controlling and monitoring input and output parameters.

Line-Interactive was developed as a cost-effective solution to the problems of low-power power supplies.

Description

The PowerWalker VI R1U series has a slim design (only 216 mm deep), which is unique on the market. It takes up only 1U of space in a 19-inch rack cabinet and can also be installed in places that were previously unavailable for UPS devices, such as under a TV. During normal operation, the fan is completely switched off, and an additional advantage is the LCD screen that automatically dims. Battery operation provides the highest quality parameters thanks to a full sine wave. The USB port is equipped with HID drivers, which allows communication with NAS without compatibility issues or additional software. The power supply is ideal for home surveillance systems where rack space is limited.
