High and central

The recorder should be placed as high as possible, such as on a shelf near the ceiling, and centrally in relation to the cameras. This location provides better Wi-Fi signal range and reduces the risk of interference.

Avoid physical obstacles

Load-bearing walls, fixtures, furniture, and appliances can suppress the signal. Place the recorder away from large obstacles and in an open space, preferably not in cabinets or behind cabinets.

Away from sources of interference

Devices such as routers, microwave ovens, smartphones and other radio transmitters can affect the signal quality. The recorder should be placed at least a few tens of centimeters away from such sources.

Access to power and internet
