MikroTik Chateau 5G Axe (S53UG+M-5HaxD2HaxD-TC&RG502Q-EA) is a fast, dual-band home access point anywhere with LTE/5G support anytime. Chateau has 4x Gigabit Ethernet ports, 1x 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port, a USB port, a microSIM card slot and an M.2 slot, as well as a built-in 5G LTE modem. There are many options to choose from depending on your needs: from LTE Cat.4 to LTE Cat.20 LTE and ultra-fast 5G.

Chateau 5G axe is powered by a modern quad-core IPQ-6010 processor running at 1.8 GHz, combined with a solid 1 GB of RAM, which provides powerful performance when it comes to heavy-duty operations such as complex firewall rules, IPsec hardware encryption, multi-threading, or experimenting with advanced RouterOS features. With additional support for advanced WPA3 encryption, network users are more secure than ever.

With support for the WiFi 6 802.11ax wireless standard and Wave 2, Chateau 5G ax can deliver unprecedented speeds. Compared to the previous generation, Chateau 5G ax achieves up to 40% faster speeds on the 5 GHz band and up to 90% faster speeds on the 2.4 GHz band. There have been huge improvements in the wireless radio and antennas. Chateau 5G ax supports 4×4 MIMO 5G and LTE. It has 6x built-in LTE/5G antennas. One pair of external antennas provides even better wireless coverage for larger homes, while the other provides improved LTE/5G connectivity.

S53UG+M-5HaxD2HaxD-TC&RG502Q-EA can simultaneously transmit WiFi network in two bands, 2.4 and 5 GHz, according to 802.11 b/g/n/ax (2.4 GHz) and 802.11 a/nx/ac (standard 52.11 a/nx/ac wave). It supports 2×2 MIMO in both bands, and its maximum theoretical throughput is 574 Mbps in 2.4 GHz and 1201 Mbps in 5 GHz. The device is equipped with internal omnidirectional antennas with a power gain of 3 dBi (2.4 GHz) and 4 dBi (5 GHz).

Important! Unlike LTE antennas, dual-band wireless antennas cannot be replaced.

In the ideal configuration and environment, a 5G modem can reach incredible speeds: downloads of up to 5 Gbps and uploads of up to 900 Mbps. But even without maximum throughput, it still guarantees a super-fast connection that can outperform the best copper and fiber networks.

The Chateau is powered by 12-28V DC using the included 24V 1.2A power supply.

Note: Chateau software is installed with Rou version 7, which is installed for an older OS version.
